Portia Woodhouse is a Chartered Legal Executive at WBW Solicitors. She joined the firm in April 2009 and is based in the Newton Abbot office.

Portia specialises in all aspects of Debt Recovery, Litigation and Advocacy. As well as litigation and using her experience, Portia has a special interest in dealing with community care issues and works alongside the firm’s Community Care Team dealing with issues such as obtaining assessments, challenging assessments, advising on Continuing Healthcare eligibility and dealing with local authority issues regarding care, care packages and financing.

Portia joined the firm after attending the University of Reading and Bar School at the University of West of England. She is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn which is one of the four Inns of Court and is a non-practising Barrister. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX).
